At the heart of our group programmes is our range of half-day, one-day and two-day outplacement workshops.
- Our one-day workshop is an ideal way of covering the key issues for all your staff in depth and allowing each person to participate fully.
- Our two-day workshop is especially suitable for groups of senior managers and executives, or where one-to-one programmes are not an option.
- We also know that occasionally there may be times when the budget will not support a one-day workshop so our half-day version can cover the essentials needed for job search techniques.
We can combine workshops with additional one-to-one support in the form of face-to-face coaching, remote Skype consultations, drop-in surgeries, as well as online and telephone support and advice. Groups can be as small as two or three people, and as large as you need depending if you are realigning a small team or considering a major site closure.
Workshops can take place in the workplace or at a convenient venue and we can staff and equip an on-site resource centre as a focal point for your people during the period of change.
As with our individual programmes, we design group programmes that are right for your people and for your organisation with clear and simple fee structures and no hidden extras.
Large media client case study
‘We were asked to support 30 finance team members when their work moved overseas. After initial individual consultations with each team member to help us to get to know them separately and to understand their personal concerns and career objectives, we then designed the programme in partnership with HR to meet their needs. The formal programme started with another individual consultation to evaluate their skills and to help them to think through their options. Alongside the consultations we ran regular two-hour workshops on a range of topics including CV writing, LinkedIn, job search methods and interview skills. We put in place further support when the formal programme finished. Our consultant was on site for a number of days for individual drop-in consultations if people needed additional support with their CV, their LinkedIn profile, a job application or help with preparing for an important interview. And after people had left the business we continued to provide telephone and email support to those people who were still job searching.’
