We will work with you to design a unique, personalised programme, matching you with the New Horizons coach who is best suited to your specific needs and aspirations.

We don’t operate a ‘one-size-fits-all’ approach to our outplacement programmes and we build them around the needs of our clients – tailored, flexible and responsive.

Our personal individual outplacement programmes are created around your specific situation, and consultations with your career coach can be face to face, by telephone or via online video call.

Individual Outplacement Programmes

You may be in a situation at work where the possibility of redundancy is being talked about and your organisation has offered to give you outplacement support at their cost. For many people this will be the first time they have heard of ‘outplacement’ and what it can offer in terms of support and practical tools when faced with a career transition.

Typically, an individual outplacement programme offers practical support with:

  • Writing CVs that work – both online and in traditional applications
  • Creating a LinkedIn profile and advising about online personal branding
  • Job search strategy and techniques
  • Coaching and preparation for upcoming interviews

Underlying all the practical work is the foundation of our approach; personal support from your Coach. We help you come to terms with the experience of redundancy, discuss what next and identify longer term options.

Sometimes ‘bite-size’ support to write a CV or LinkedIn profile or perhaps to prepare for an interview may be all that is needed.

In addition, our online job search package, i-horizons, is available to give you access to job search tools, psychometric assessments and exercises designed to help identify strengths and provide assistance in finding the right career choice.

Our coaching support can continue once you get a job offer. Your coach can help to assess the job offer package, and work with you to develop your plan for the first 90 days in your new role.
