Adrian was a senior manager with an international accountancy practice. He was acknowledged to be their leading expert in his particular field but was so immersed in the technical detail of his work that he had not recognised that he needed to develop his leadership and interpersonal skills in parallel as he moved up the ladder.
Adrian had twice been passed over for promotion to director level and had received feedback that he needed to be more concise, confident and persuasive in his communications with internal and external stakeholders.
The coach partnered with him to develop a leadership and communications strategy to engage and inspire his colleagues, create clarity in his messaging and win buy-in from the senior executive team.
