• What is an interview? Understanding the structure of an interview and exploring the relationship between interviewer and interviewee.
• Types of interview. The one-to-one interview; the panel interview; the 'informal' chat; unusual locations.
• Interview basics. What to wear, personal presentation, body language and making a positive first impression.
• Essential techniques. Analysing questions, listening skills, constructing and practising effective responses to a wide range of questions.
• Dealing with awkward questions. Learning and practising techniques to prepare you for all eventualities while avoiding common pitfalls.

• Taking control. Ensuring that you convey the impression that best represents you and promotes your claim to the job you want.
• Overcoming common concerns. Dealing with a difficult interviewer; asking relevant and perceptive questions; keeping focused throughout the interview; making a final, lasting and positive impression.
• Effective presentations. We will help you to develop, put together and deliver effective PowerPoint and other presentations.
• Assessment centres. We will demystify the confusion that often surrounds assessment centres and guide you to produce a strategy for dealing with them.

Delivery is mainly on a one-to-one basis across a number of sessions and can involve coaching at a distance by telephone and e-mail. We also run group sessions on request. Regular reviews and 'debriefings' feature as part of the service to ensure that lessons are learned at every opportunity.
